I got my Ph.D. under the advice of Dr. Mustafa Bilgic in the Department of Computer Science at Illinois Tech. My research focuses on the natural language process in the social network, machine learning/deep learning applications, recommender systems, and active learning.
I am currently working on final thesis topic, which is the filter bubbles on news recommender systems with Drs. Mustafa Bilgic, Aron Culotta, and Matthew A. Shapiro.
Besides my academic experience, I worked in Conversant as a data scientist intern in 2018 summer and then spent two wonderful summers in LinkedIn as a Machine Learning Engineer Intern. I'm going to join LinkedIn as a full-time MLE in 2021 upon my graduation.
